FAQs
  • How do I find my ring size?
Having trouble figuring out your ring size? Our ring sizer can be purchased in our site or you can come to our store to get your ring measured by our expert. Please note that our sizing is based on US sizes.
  • What material does Glisten Grandeur ring carries?
There are six types of materials we offer for our ring bands: 925 Sterling Silver, Rhodium, 18k White Gold, Stainless Steel, Titanium & Tungsten Carbide. The types of stones we offer for diamonds include Moissanite, Natural Gemstones, Lab Grown, Diamond Simulants, and Cubic Zirconias.
  • What is Diamond Simulant?
Diamond simulants are created in a lab in order to mimic the colorlessness, flawlessness, and durability of a perfect diamond. There are some diamond simulants that are actually of higher quality than some natural diamonds.
  • What is Moissanite Diamond?
Moissanite is a near-colorless stone made of silicon carbide. While moissanite is made to look like diamonds, it differs from diamonds both in composition and appearance. It is manufactured in New York and comes with GRA certification and a serial number.
  • Will Moissanite pass a diamond tester?
Moissanite and diamond are the only two gemstones that can be detected by a diamond tester.
  • What is Cubic Zirconia?
Cubic zirconia is virtually colourless, hard, flawless, and complex. Although Cubic Zircornia is not a diamond, it is man-made to mimic a diamond. This is why it is less expensive than a diamond. It is impossible to distinguish Cubic Zirconia from Diamond, unless you use a loupe.
  • Is Cubic Zirconia a real diamond?
Despite the fact that cubic zirconia and diamonds look similar to the naked eye, they are not the same. It is as brilliant as a diamond, but much more affordable. It is almost as hard as diamond on the Mohs scale of hardness. Cubic zirconia is a 8.5 and for diamond is a 10.
  • What is the difference between GG ranges of Diamond Simulants/Moissanite rings and Cubic Zirconia rings?
Our Diamond Simulants and Moissanite collection is handcrafted ring which means every piece is a workmanship done by hand which takes less energy than a mass production. This ring combines 92.5% pure silver with 3 layers of 18k white gold, making it a more suitable for everyday ring. However for our Cubic Zirconia range it is made by mass production or using machinery, Its ring band is made of 92.5% Pure Silver and 7.5% their metals such as Copper or Zinc. The biggest differentiating factors between Cubic Zirconia and Diamond Simulants/ Moissanite are their unique color, clarity, durability, and weight!
  • Can Glisten Grandeur ring S925 get scratches?
It is normal to see small scratches on Glisten Grandeur ring over time especially if the person wearing the ring is constantly working with their hands and is in contact with rocks, construction materials, or any hard, non-metallic materials.
  • Can you wear Cubic Zirconia everyday?
Usually, cubic zirconia begins to cloud up and scratch in about 2 years or less with daily wear. You can however purchase our Tungsten Carbide, Moissanite, or Diamond Simulant collection to wear every day!
  • Can you wear Glisten Grandeur S925 jewellery in the shower?
Though showering with our jewellery on should not harm the silver, there is a good chance that it could induce tarnishing. Water that contains chlorine, salt, or harsh chemicals will affect the look of your silver.
  • What to avoid when wearing Glisten Grandeur S925?
Try to avoid water, sweat, perfume, lotion and harsh chemicals. Keep dry and well save them.
  • Is Tungsten Carbide good?
The most scratch-resistant metal is tungsten carbide. The weight of tungsten carbide jewellery is similar to gold and platinum, and it is affordable. The hardness of tungsten prevents it from bending out of shape. It is possible to shower with tungsten carbide rings.
  • Tungsten Carbide vs Titanium
The strength and scratch resistance of Tungsten are superior to Titanium. According to the Mohs scale, Tungsten Carbide ranks between 8.5 and 9. Titanium sits further down the ranks at 6.
